Welcome to Local Ha Giang Tours. By signing up to participate in our tours, you agree to be bound by our Tour Policies listed below

• Advance Booking: To ensure the best possible experience, we recommend booking your tour at least 4 days in advance. While we do accept last-minute bookings when availability permits, booking ahead allows us to prepare and plan your tour more thoroughly, ensuring every detail meets your expectations.
• Booking Channels: Bookings can be made through the following channels:
  • Reservation Form: Complete the reservation form available on our website.

• Response Time: We strive to respond to all booking inquiries within 24 hours.

1. Booking and Payment

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 1,000,000 VND per person is required. This deposit can be conveniently paid via OnePay, which applies a transaction fee of 3%, bringing the total to 1,030,000 VND per person. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at Local Ha Giang Tours in Ha Giang City, prior to the tour’s departure.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations

• Refunds: To receive a refund of your deposit, cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to the tour start time.
• No-Show Policy: No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
• Transferable Reservations: If you find a replacement, your reservation and any paid fees are transferable to the new participant.
• Unused Services: There will be no refunds or exchanges for accommodation, meals, transport, or any other services included in the tour price that are not utilized by the tour member.

Cancellation by Tour Operator: In the unlikely event we must cancel a tour, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made.

3. Rider Requirements

• Age and Licensing:
  • Riders must be between 18 and 72 years old.
  • Riders should have at least 2,000 km of riding experience in the past two years on a similar performance motorcycle.
  • Self-Ride Requests: If you wish to ride a motorcycle yourself, please inform us during the booking process. A valid international motorcycle driver’s license (1968 Convention) and a national driving license accepted in Vietnam is required. Both types of licenses are eligible for use, and they must be presented before the tour.

4. Insurance

• Travel insurance is not included in the tour package. We strongly recommend all participants obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance covering motorcycle activities before the tour.

5. Liability and Responsibilities

• Participants must adhere to all local traffic laws and follow the tour leader’s instructions.
• Consumption of alcohol or drugs before or during riding is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.
• We are not responsible for any loss, delays, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

6. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

• We reserve the right to modify the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, or other safety concerns. Any significant changes will be communicated promptly to participants.

7. Complaint and Resolution Policy

• Immediate Notification: If you have any complaints or concerns during your tour, please inform us immediately so that we can address and resolve the issue as quickly and effectively as possible.
• Timely Response: Our team is committed to providing you with a prompt and satisfactory resolution. We encourage you to communicate with us directly during the tour to ensure any issues are handled in real-time.

8. Photo Release
   By joining the tour, you consent to us taking photos and videos of you for use in promotional materials such as brochures and advertisements. If you prefer not to have your photos used, please notify us in advance.
9. Children’s Policy

• Children aged 5 to 11 years: 80% of the adult fare.
• Children under 4 years old: Free of charge (please note that any additional expenses for children during the tour, such as meals or activities, will be paid by the parents).

10. Behavior and Conduct

• Participant Conduct: You agree to behave respectfully and responsibly towards fellow participants, guides, and local communities. Any disruptive behavior, including excessive intoxication, dangerous driving, or harassment, will result in immediate removal from the tour at your own expense.
• Environmental Responsibility: Participants must respect the environment, wildlife, and local customs. Any actions that harm the environment, such as littering, damaging property, or disrespecting local traditions, will lead to immediate removal from the tour.

11. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from the tour will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Vietnamese courts.

12. Acknowledgment

• By booking a tour with us, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
